PostWarden

PostWarden is a personal general ledger where PostgreSQL — not the application — enforces the accounting: every entry balances, history is append-only, and the hierarchy stays valid, checked by the database itself, not just the UI. It's real double-entry bookkeeping with OneStream-style scenarios for forecasts and budgets, self-hosted on your own machine. It isn't a hosted product you sign up for, and it isn't envelope budgeting with extra steps — it's software you run yourself, and your data never has to leave it.
